Over the weekend, the Chiefs crew and I headed back out to Arrowhead for another rainy day. The upside to this weekend's game is that we were more prepared thanks to have experienced it the game prior. We ended up bring side flaps for our canopy, extra trash bags, making easy food, and just having a better plan in general. PLUS, the temperature was about 25 degrees warmer than two weeks ago, so it required far less layers.
Here are some of the typical pictures, plus a funny shot of me in the bathroom. Stacey and I have discovered that if the Chiefs have the ball right before the half and we go to the bathroom, they will score. You're welcome, Kansas City.
The Chiefs ended up pulling it out after a pretty sloppy game from both sides. With the last minute being the the most exciting, we really got to see the Chiefs defense hold strong. I'm surprised that ended up still having a voice today!!
As of right now, we will play for the Wild Card spot against the Indianapolis Colts.
Most people don't know this, but the New York Jets are my #2 team. My aunt has lived in NYC for most of my life, so I have grown up watching the Mets and Jets. Yesterday was a big day for the Jets too, who have now won three in a row and are set to play for their Wild Card spot against New England.
It's a great time to be a football fan!
