Now that things are slowing down a bit, I find myself missing blogging. I'm not sure that I can commit to updating multiple times a week, but I miss having a digital scrapbook of sorts. I'm thinking that the best plan of action is to plan on updating 1-2 times a month with a photo dump. Anything extra will be just that.
The biggest change in life lately has been starting my new job. If you've been a reader, you know that this year I went from teaching high school SPED English to now teaching 7th and 8th grade ELA. The change in grade level has been an adjustment in terms of just figuring out what kids may or may not already know. On top of that, moving to a new building has been difficult, but yet great. Overall, work is the largest part of my life, so that is what most of my photos include.

While work keeps me busy, I can't say that I haven't had the opportunity to engage in some fun lately. Recently, I had a Sunday free and made the trek to Weston, MO visit the Red Barn Farm. A beautiful day with cider, caramel apples, and pumpkin picking was good for my soul. Call me basic, if you will, but I love Autumn and all that comes with it.
Another thing that is good for my soul is spending time with my Chiefs family when the team has home games. Their last home game versus the Saints was a brilliant win and a laid-back tailgate. One of my favorite things in the world is getting to eat good food and catch up on life before going to watch the Chiefs.

October was busy, and November doesn't seem like it will be slowing down. I'm not sure if I'm excited or already exhausted. Because I'm just now posting my "October recap," I'm hoping to be back soon with the first half of November!
