Bridal Shower!

Happy Thursday! Today, I have a little recap of a bridal shower that I went to last weekend. It has been an exciting time for the Duvall family as one of our cousins, Marissa, is getting married on July 25th! Marissa and Ben are about a week apart in age and grew up being close despite living far away from each other. Marissa moved to Columbia to attend MU, while Ben obviously moved to KC and went to UMKC. This allowed them to reconnect as adults, and for me to meet her and grow to love her too.

Over the weekend, women in Marissa's life traveled from near and far [Wisconsin, Iowa, and numerous places here in MO] to celebrate her getting hitched. We played a fun game, ate yummy food, and celebrated her while she opened gifts. Here are a few pictures from the day:

  

 

  

It was a great day! Marissa's mom, Colleen, worked really hard to get everything put together and it definitely worked out beautifully! Only nine days until they get married!!
