I figured that before we get too far into the new year, I should recap the holidays and say again how blessed and thankful I am for everything and everyone that I have in my life. This year's holiday was emotional and strange following Richard's passing, but thankfully I have amazing friends and family to help pull me out of this life slump.
To start, my two very best friends in the world gave me the perfect Christmas presents. Chiefs, scarves, school supplies, socks, and tea are LITERALLY some of my favorite things in the world!!
Below are some various snaps of Helms-family Christmas. Old school stockings, my grandmother's painted crafts, and shrimp on Christmas Eve are the tradition. My grandma and parents pooled money to buy a deep freeze for me house, and I found these perfect ceramic key ornaments so that Stacey, Hannah, and I can all have matching ones on our trees.
Finally, the required pictures from Christmas day of my "Santa present" and mom's tree. And naturally, with Christmas being on a Red Friday, I had to support the Chiefs! I also put my selfie stick to use to grab some family photos.
