Project 365 (366)

With the new year comes new blogging opportunities. I know that the vast majority of my readers are people that I know, but it is always the goal to reach out and connect with other people. I'm planning to spend this year putting a little more focus on this blog and trying to grow the "brand" that we have going here. Promoting myself is always a little awkward... "Hey, please read my blog even though you might not care what I have to say" is what I think every time I share a post on my facebook page. Alas, we're still plugging along here at KDinKC.

In an attempt to promote the blog a little bit more, while still capturing my life here in Kansas City, I've decided to complete a Project 365 this year using Instagram. I run a live-feed of my Instagram on the bottom of the blog home page, but you can also access it directly HERE.

I'm excited about this challenge because not only do I love taking pictures, but I think that it will also help me to focus on one of my words of the year: CELEBRATION. By having to stop and smell the roses (snap photos) for this challenge, I hope to savor the moments.
