What I've Been Reading...

I wish I could tell you that I've been doing a ton of leisurely reading in my free time, but that's just not the case. I read one book over Christmas break though, and I'd love to recommend it to you guys!

Eleanor & Park was the perfect novel for the modern-day girl who is a little self conscious about her body. Eleanor is a high school girl who has some body issues and has to figure out how to let somebody love her even though she's not sure she loves herself. Park is a high school boy who is trying to figure out who he is, how his friends play into that, and how to love somebody else who he never expects to feel anything for. IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS - GO! FIND IT!

For the next month or so, class novels will take up my reading time. We are reading the following books at CHS:
LA3: The Great Gatsby
LA2: The Book Thief
LA10: Night
LA1: To Kill A Mockingbird
