Man, guys. As we get closer and closer to the end of the season, it gets more and more exciting. The Chiefs have officially won NINE GAMES IN A ROW and with their 9th win against the Browns, they CLINCHED A PLAYOFF SPOT. As a Chiefs fan, we didn't know that this was how the season would go. Losing five games in a row is tough to swallow, but it has been so exciting watching this team rally back and clean up!
On December 27th, the Chiefs took on the Browns at home. It was a closer game than I would have liked, but we ended up pulling out the win, topping them 17-13. The Chiefs ended up winning it with the Browns just 32 yards from scoring when Johnny football failed to get the fourth-down play off before the clock ran out. With our win, the Chiefs clinched the Wild Card spot when Pittsburg lost just a few minutes after our game was over.
- Chiefs win, Broncos lose: Chiefs host playoff game in KC (probably against the Jets)
- Chiefs win, Broncos win: Chiefs play Houston at Houston
Regardless of outcome, a large group of us will be at the playoff game. With a few of us having friends or family in the Houston area, it would be a fun road trip to take together. If at home, we have Arrowhead on our side. Coin flip.
** This was probably my favorite game of the entire season. Food was good, company was great, and NO RAIN. I love my Chiefs family.
Bonus: The week prior, while the Chiefs were out of town, a handful of STH's got together at watched the game down at Westport Saloon with potluck style food. Here some fun shots of that get together:
