- Cooking is hard. I can follow a recipe, no doubt, but when it comes to throwing things together and having them taste good... I fail. I suppose will leave this up to Ben since he's a pro at it.
- Everything costs a lot of money. Bills, groceries, things you need for work... it adds up! Living on a stipend wage this year and having to furnish my own food, utility money, union dues, etc., makes me realize how expensive things are and how lucky I was to have my mom to help me all of these years.
- Being away from the person you love is soul crushing. It is literally the hardest thing I've had to do to be away from Benjamin this past month. I'm just trying to look to the future... our wedding, and finally being together when this year is over. It will be worth it.
- Working full time makes you really tired. Going to school full time on top of that makes you exhausted. Planning a wedding on top of that makes you insane.
- Washing your hair with medicated shampoo to treat your scalp/skin issues is hard when the shampoo burns the skin on your hands because of your other skin issues. (Psoriasis problems).
- Having roommates that understand what you're going through exactly is wonderful, but nothing replaces your best friends from your hometown and the love/support they give you no matter when you need it.
