As I've mentioned, Saturday was Ben and I's anniversary. Clearly we were not able to celebrate together, so we went out on Thursday night to our favorite Thai place (the one we went on our first date to). Of course, I catalogued the night to share!
First, I gave Ben a couple small gifts: a puppy that says silly "love" stuff, four (huge) red velvet cupcakes, and a card!
After I gave B his presents, we headed on to Thai place. I try to share all of my tips and tricks with you guys, so I will be honest and tell you that we almost always use a Groupon when we eat there now! It's not that it's overly expensive, but who doesn't like a good deal? We can get two great entrees and two appetizers for $35 rather than $50-60, so why wouldn't we??
Anywho, I ordered King and Ann Chicken - ginger and mushrooms... yum! Ben had Yellow Curry which is much spicier than what I can handle! But look at how cool his bowl is?!
After dinner we walked over to Murray's Ice-Cream since we were already in Westport (and literally across the street)! Murray's is a really cool ice cream shop that has tons of flavors and toppings, and only takes cash or check. I got chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, and Ben got "A Drunk Monk" (some sort of Hazelnut ice cream) with Nutella on it. He's obsessed.
Some of the pictures are a bit more blurry than I'd like, but oh well. We had a great time, and I love that we have a tradition for our anniversaries! It's so crazy to think this is the last one we'll be celebrating in August! Eeek!
