Recipe: Spicy Pretzels

Last week when my friends and I had a girls' night, we decided that instead of having a meal we would just prepare a number of different appetizers and snacks. My friend Megan brought Spicy Pretzels, and it was love at first bite! Beings that they were so delicious, I naturally looked up the recipe and made some for myself! I wanted to share because it's SO SIMPLE, and such a great snack for just you or your friends!

Here's what you need:
  • Ground cayenne pepper (1 teaspoon)*
  • Lemon pepper (1 teaspoon)
  • Garlic salt (1.5 teaspoons)
  • Ranch dressing mix (1 - 1oz package)
  • Vegetable oil (3/4 cup)
  • Pretzels (1 - 15oz bag)

The instructions are super simple! There's only a handful of steps! How great is that?!

1. Mix all of your ingredients (minus the pretzels obviously) in a small bowl

2. Put the contents of your bag of pretzels in a gallon sized zip lock bag, then pour your mixture of spices in

 3. Shake the bag so that your pretzels are coated with the mixture

 4. Let your pretzels sit for 2 hours before digging in - but make sure you periodically mix it up to better coat the pretzels

5. After 2 hours, feel free to dig in! But make sure that over the next 24 hours that you are shaking your bag up a little bit every so often to keep them evenly coated and seasoned! ENJOY!

*If you're not a huge "spicy" person, cut your cayenne pepper amount to HALF a teaspoon!
