Friday, we had no where to be in particular so we decided to take in some of the best STL attractions!
We got up at a decent hour, grabbing breakfast at our hotel! Aren't free breakfasts the best? They just taste better, I think. Anywho, after eating we headed to the St. Louis Zoo! While there we got to see a ton of cool animals! I think it's so awesome that the Zoo there is free (if you don't count parking). It definitely makes for an affordable and fun outing with friends or family! Here are some snap shots:
After we left the zoo, we headed to an area of STL called The Loop. It seemed to be the trendy area of town with restaurants, boutiques, cool hotels, etc. (Think Westport if you're from KC), all on one street. One of the coolest parts of The Loop though was that they had a walk of fame similar to the one in Hollywood. A couple of the coolest ones were Tina and Ike Turner! I also grabbed a shot of Robert Duvall, considering that's soon to be my last name!
Friday night we treated ourselves to some Italian food at the Hill - the well known Italian district. I'll tell you more about that in an upcoming "Restaurant Review" post! Keep your eyes peeled!
