STL Girls' Trip - Saturday

After checking the weather forecast for our Saturday in STL, we were worried that rain would ruin our day. Luckily, mother nature was on our side and we ended up having the most beautiful weather we could have asked for!

We started out our morning at Grant's Farm. If you didn't know, Grant's farm is named for the land's former owner Ulysses S. Grant, and is now home to some beautiful Clydesdale horses and a few (900) of their animal friends! Among the animals you can see at Grant's Farm are the Clydesdales, elephants, goals, bald eagles, camels, deer, cows, kangaroos, and more. Similar to the zoo, we paid for parking but seeings that animals was free!

After leaving the farm, we did what any typical females with a free afternoon in a big city would do... we went shopping! After a couple hours at the mall, we headed back to the hotel to prepare ourselves for the evening.

Saturday night we had tickets to see DJ Pauly D, Jesse McCartney, & The Backstreet Boys! We left early for the concert, and were some of the first people in line to get into the lawn section of the venue when they opened the gates! We ended up getting awesome seats at the very front of the grass! Much closer than our seats 2 nights prior.

Pauly D and Jesse McCartney didn't disappoint. Both are good looking men who put on a good show, so we had fun during their sets! Also, Jesse McCartney in that suit is EVERYTHING.

The Backstreet Boys closed it out, and as a fan of 20 years and someone who has seen them in concert a number of times before, it was everything we could have hoped for. They played all the hits, some of their new album, and had an awesome acoustic portion. These guys are talented in every sense of the word.
