Top 5 book to screen Adaptations

Today I have another "favorites" list of mine! My top 5 (semi-recent) book to screen adaptations.

As an English teacher and lover of books, I truly believe that if you're going to make a book a movie or TV series, it needs to be done right. By that I mean it needs to hold the same sentiments, have the same main focus, and not too many things can be rearranged time wise. So here's my list!
  1. The Perks of Being A Wallflower
     
  2. Harry Potter
        
  3. Hunger Games
         
  4. Gossip Girl
      
  5. Harriet The Spy

    I had to stop watching Gossip Girl because it was so different.

    Yeah... I guess I should have prefaced this with the fact that I liked the show because it was different!
